These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CancerDrs (the "Site"), operated by MiniGig LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
Informational use only
The Site aggregates publicly available data from federal and other sources and adds explanatory content. The Site does not provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. See our Medical Disclaimer.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest content beyond what is permitted for personal reference (our data is already available from primary sources)
- Upload false, misleading, defamatory, or harmful content via forms or review submissions
- Impersonate any person, including a physician
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes or in violation of federal, state, or local law
Listings and sponsored placements
Certain practice listings on the Site are paid placements. Paid listings are clearly marked as "Sponsored," "Featured," or with a similar label. Payment does not affect the factual data we publish about any physician, institution, or trial. Listing fees are flat-fee subscriptions and are not tied to the volume or value of referrals (consistent with the Anti-Kickback Statute referral services safe harbor at 42 CFR 1001.952(f)).
Third-party data and links
The Site republishes data from ClinicalTrials.gov, the NPI Registry, CMS, NCI, SEER, and other public sources. These sources retain ownership of their underlying data. We make reasonable efforts to aggregate accurately but provide no warranty. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Affiliate disclosures
The Site may contain affiliate links to services (e.g., medical records retrieval, virtual second-opinion platforms, patient navigation services). If you engage with a service via our link, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These relationships are disclosed where they appear and never influence which services we include.
Intellectual property
Original content on the Site (text we write, design, code, compilations) is owned by MiniGig LLC and protected by copyright. Federal government data (ClinicalTrials.gov, NPI, CMS, etc.) is in the public domain under 17 U.S.C. § 105.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MiniGig LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MiniGig LLC is organized, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after posting constitutes acceptance.
